21/04/26: Congratulations to St Andrews A for beating Dundee B in the Knockout final to take the Knockout title! Well done! Credit to Dundee B for reaching the final and putting up a good fight.
14/03/26: The semi-finals have been completed. Well done to Dundee B & St Andrews A in reaching the final! The final draw is up and the deadline is Fri 17th April 26. Good luck to both teams.
18/01/26: First Q/F match ends in disappointment for Castlehill A, who beat Newport Knights 4½ – 3½, but have been disqualified for using a 7th player!
28/11/25: That is the prelim draws completed! Now the Q/F`s to get played.

11/04/25: Congratulations to St Andrews B on becoming the 2024-25 TAFCA Knockout Champions, after beating Perth in the final, which was held at Castlehill! Well played Perth in finishing runners-up!
11/03/25: Congratulations to Perth A & St Andrews B on reaching the Team Knockout final! Deadline date is Fri 18th April 25. Good luck to both teams!
08/02/25: We have reached the semi-final stage. Matches to be played by Fri 14th March 25
01/02/25: Three Q/F matches completed, with one left to resolve!
21/11/24: The prelims are now completed and the Q/Final draw is complete. Well done Newport Knights, Perth A & St Andrews A!
11/11/24: Castlehill Flyers taste victory against Stonehaven in the first prelim match to be played! Now they await the winners of Newport v Kirkcaldy!
The draw for Time-Handicap Knockout for this season (2024-25) has been done and is now up on the website. Twelve teams have entered this season. (Check out draw tab!)

Congratulations to Dundee City A on winning the TAFCA Team Knockout Cup 2023-24. Newport Knights A finish as runners-up spot after putting up a good fight. Well done to both teams for getting this far in a tough format!
The semi-finals have at last been completed and congratulations to Newport Knights A & Dundee A for reaching the final! Deadline for final is Fri 12th April 24. Good luck to both teams!
The Q/Finals have been completed and congratulations to all four teams that are in the S/Finals! Deadline for S/F, Fri 10th Mar 24.
The prelims are completed and we are now into the Q/Final`s! Two have been played, with two remaining. Deadline for Q/F matches, Fri 26th Jan 24.
The draw for the 2023-24 Knockout has now been done and deadline dates set! Please, captains contact your opposing captain ASAP and set a date! It`s a very tight chess calendar!
04/04/23: Congratulations to Perth A who after an epic battle with St Andrews A in the final, are crowned the TAFCA Time Handicap Champions 2022-23! Well done!
19/02/23: Congratulations to St.Andrews Uni A for reaching the final after ripping Castlehill B apart! Good luck to the 2 finalists, Perth A v St.Andrews Uni A!

The draw for Time-Handicap Knockout for this season (2022-23) has been done and is now up on the website. Twelve teams have entered this season, which given it`s our first OTB season in two years is a good entry! (Check out draw tab!)
