My Designs!

My real passion is designing accessories, particularly purses. I am planning on starting an online boutique soon to share my designs with the world.

Pittsburgh Fashion Week 2019

This year at Pittsburgh Fashion Week was a big production. My job was to help with the execution of the whole show. This included guiding the models through hair and make up, assisting them with their outfits, filing them in their positions in line, and directing them through the rest of the show. The show was great. There was so many great designers and models. The level of talent is increasing every year.

Pittsburgh Fashion Week 2018

I had the pleasure of working at Pittsburgh Fashion Week as a designer Assistant. The experience was priceless. It is so motivating being able to be in a room with like-minded people, and seeing them accomplish their dreams. My job was to get the models through hair and make up, help dress them, get them in the lineup, and finish last minute alterations needed on the garments. My biggest take away from the show is that there is no such thing as failing, only growing.

Being a Manager at a few different Stores has allowed me to develop an eye for merchandising.

The best merchandiser knows her target market, and her product. Merchandising makes selling that much easier. Below are some of my favorite displays!

In visual Merchandising 2217, My partner and I created this realistic window display

Apparel Design 1102- This is a Collection that I Drew. My inspiration for the line came from images found in "People Magazine" And "The W magazine".

In Advanced sewing skills, we created two different garments. This was one of mine. It is a bomber jacket made out a green, heavy weight, upholstery fabric.
