"If we work together and play our part, we can tackle the e-waste problem in Singapore, enabling a robust circular economy"-TAE UWCSEA  Branch

According to the National Environment Agency(NEA), Singapore generates about 60,000 tonnes of e-waste every year, equivalent to each person discarding 70 mobile phones a year. E-Wastes contain toxic substances like lead, mercury, cadmium. If not properly handled, these toxic substances can leach into soil or pollute our air of water supplies. NEA has introduced a regulated e-waste management system that will ensure the proper collection and handling of e-waste.
