Our Mission
Founded in July 2022, the Mariner's Church Branch aims to spread knowledge of the harms of electronic waste by collecting batteries and hosting e-waste collection drives.
Our focus is to spread environmental awareness to not just students, but members of our community. Our branch lies on the intersection of Newport Beach and Irvine, California.

Electronic Waste and Health
When using open-air burning to dispose of e-waste, the fumes can cause a number of detrimental health effects, including, but not limited to, respiratory and neurological issues. The chemicals emitted can contribute to the greenhouse gas effect and increase the amount of global warming. These fumes can also travel by air and land within crop soil, further impacting our environment.
You can ensure that your electronic waste is being responsibly disposed of by donating it to our organization. Please support us in our mission to better our own health, and the world's.

How to Help Without Donating?
If you cannot readily donate your electronic waste, an easy way to offset your waste production is to extend the life of your own devices, reuse your older electronics, or donate your unneeded products to others. Minimizing your waste will lead to a greener Earth.
