Musical Cane Game overview and demo instructions
Teams will be presenting their final projects for the course "Technology, Accessibility, and Design." Students have been hard at work for the better part of the semester working with community partners to improve accessibility (broadly defined) for people who are blind or visually impaired. The event will be fully accessible, regardless of your level of vision.
The event will be held from 5pm to 7pm on May 10th, 2019.
The event will be held at Olin College in the academic center, room 309.
1000 Olin Way
Needham, MA 02492
As you turn onto Olin Way from Great Plain Avenue, continue all the way to the end of Olin way (keeping left at any intersections). You will arrive at a large traffic circle. You may park in any of these spaces (using visitor spots first). If you are facing the campus with the parking lot behind you, the academic center will be at your 10 o'clock.
Someone will be available to meet folks that need assistance getting to the classroom. If you do not encounter anyone when you arrive or if you need assistance of any sort, please call my (Paul) cell phone number at 650-279-8868.
Occasionally we have seen Uber or Lyft drivers get directed to Olin through a back entrance that is typically locked. If you are taking Uber or Lyft, you may want to ask your driver to confirm that the route they are taking has them entering the College by turning off of Great Plain Avenue onto Olin Way. If their route avoids Great Plain Avenue, that is a sign that they are going to take the wrong route.
