Arakhivaen Saliriador

Arakhivaen was raised within the rigid sun elf nobility. He has a strong sense of duty and adheres to it more often than not. He does have a sense of honor, though, and that may at times clash with the duties expected of him. He behaves with a certain amount of decorum, often using proper titles when speaking to people. He has a slight independent streak, though, which he rarely allows to run free unless given proper reason to. He's very used to seeing things in black and white but can see shades of grey with convincing.

He has charm and wit about him, though, and gentleness to those within his circle. He does his best, but he still has some of the prejudices he was raised with and the sun elf arrogance and patronizing attitude they are known for. He can temper these, though, if someone points it out to him when they show. Even at his age, he knows he has room for growth and learning.

Early Life

Arakhivaen is the eldest child of the Saliriador family, a high ranking, highly influential family in Evermeet. As thus, from a young age he was expected to carry on the family's legacy as he grew. Everything was decided for him, from what he studied to who he associated with. Every step of his life was planned by his mother, who was one of the queen's trusted advisors.

Doomed Romance

When he was of age, Arakhivaen took up a guard position in one of the elven territories of Faerun. It was during this time he met a beautiful, cunning, and charming rogue. She was a moon elf with no high pedigree and a breath of fresh air for him. Arakhivaen fell head over heels for Kyrirthlila Bluethorn and pursued her. The pair entered a courtship romance for decades, meeting up and having their dalliances.

In this time, Evermeet called for all elves of Faerun to return to Evermeet. Arakhivaen tried to contact Kyrirthlila to attempt to convince her to return with him, but his letters went unanswered. He ran out of time and had to return to his duties, hoping to eventually track her down again in the future.

Present Day

The elves are beginning to return to Faerun and Arakhivaen has taken the role of Commander of the Vale Guard. He will, at times, meet with non-elf dignitaries to be a bridge for Faerun and Evereska. He still hopes to be able to track down Kyrirthlila and make amends.
