Firstly, call me JB. I am over 18. I operate in Eastern Standard Time. I’m newish to DND but I’m very interested in learning and absorbing everything I can about it.
This blog is set up as a semi-private roleplay blog, as in I plan on only interacting with mutuals in roleplay threads, but askbox is open to any. I’m not terribly selective about who I follow back. My only restrictions are
No auto-love interests. I prefer doing build ups for that and I enjoy muses falling in love instead of rushing to the in love part.
Please understand I have astigmatisms, so I need to be able to read what you write, as in make sure there’s good contrast. A lot of the time, black backgrounds with thin white font is not something I can read comfortably so I may not even bother with your blog.
I expect manners from my followers. Do not push me, I have a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment.
Do not control my muses or have your muse know things about my muse they should not. Do not be too overpowered. Make it fair, let’s roll initiative if we do have a conflict.
Starting OOC drama is a no. If I see it on my dash, I will unfollow and drop any threads we may have. Sorry, but I graduated in ‘09. I don’t have time for that anymore.
On the topic of memes and reblogging, I greatly prefer if it's a general meme that does not require any established connection, you send me something before reblogging from me or else reblog from the source. If it's something that does require an established connection, I'm not bothered by you reblogging from me. I will softblock if you reblog general memes from me without sending them, though, as I like to keep my notifications as something for me to reference and not be clogged up.
I'm open for any of my muses to be interacted with, but preference for me to send things out will be given to my tadpoled muses, unless we've plotted with my other muses.
I like shipping. I like discussing potential. What I don’t like is when relationships are assumed or there isn’t prior discussion and interaction. I’m very big on chemistry between characters and roleplayers. So please, let’s chat and interact first.
I’m multiship, I don’t tend to do exclusives. If I do end up doing exclusives, it would be due to having heavily plotted with the other rper and have built up a strong collaborative writing with them. And that takes months for me, so it’s not something that happens often.
I will post opens occasionally for my muses, especially if they have a personal quest I've developed for them. Anyone is welcomed to answer them at any time, there is no time limit.
I throw all replies into my queue, whether they be thread or memes, unless it is a headcanon meme. This is done for my sanity. The queue is set for 3 posts a day.
I'm half and half about reblog karma. If it's something simple (e.g. "send this symbol if your muse finds mine attractive" or a headcanon meme, non-relationship sentences), I would appreciate you sending something in or reblogging from the source or the blog I reblogged from (which is usually a meme source blog). If it's something that requires a pre-established relationship, feel free to reblog from me.
I do hardblock and softblock and there is a difference between the two for me.
Softblocking - I'll do this when I feel like I haven't gotten much interest from you. It helps me clear my dash up to focus on mutuals I have things with. Easiest way to show interest is either filling out the interest tracker or sending some simple memes occasionally. Usually if I can figure out who you might be interested in, then I'll happily return the interactions. If I don't feel like you're giving me much back, I'll softblock. That being said, you're always free to refollow me in case I misread cues.
Hardblocking - I'll do this rarely, but I've done it when I've felt like I just can't see myself having chemistry with you as a writer or if it's in your rules that you don't do softblocking and prefer hardblocking. The only other reason I hardblock is if I were to be harassed.
Tag your nsfw items with a simple tag please. I know tumblr's being a pain, so nsft or usfw works too
I don’t have any major triggers, as I’ve gone to therapy to work through some of them. The color pink is not my friend, though, and if you have a lot of pink in your theme or about your muse, it may take me a little bit to get through the information/get comfortable with them.
