TADA of Fairfax

Theatre Arts Directors Association

The Theatre Arts Directors Association (TADA) is made up of the fifty-plus Theatre Arts Educators in Fairfax County Public Schools. Our mission is to create - in elementary, middle, high, and secondary schools - a thriving Theatre Arts Program which meets the needs of their students and school community.

Classes in Theatre Arts, Technical Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Changing Education through the Arts (CETA, Arts Integration partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts) span the full course of elementary and secondary education. In addition, many opportunities are provided beyond the classroom for students to expand their horizons; including, but not limited to: attendance at performances, workshops, and extracurricular school productions. In addition, FCPS students participate in numerous local, statewide, regional, national, and international festivals and competitions.
