Privacy Policy for TACTO

TACTO is a mobile board gaming platform that lets users sign in, play online games, join tournaments, use chat features, manage profiles, earn virtual rewards, and access in-app gaming features.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how users can request deletion of their account.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate and improve TACTO.
a. Account Information
When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we may receive:
- Your Google account email address
- Your Google account name
- Your profile image, if available
- Your unique authentication identifier
TACTO does not collect or store your Google password.
b. Profile Information
We may store profile details created or used inside TACTO, such as:
- Username
- Avatar or profile image
- Rating or score
- Game statistics
- Coins, gems, tickets, and other virtual balances
- Owned or equipped in-game items
- App preferences and settings
c. Gameplay and Tournament Information
To provide multiplayer and competitive features, we may collect:
- Match history
- Game sessions
- Moves or gameplay state
- Tournament entries
- Tournament results
- Rewards and leaderboard data
- Lobby and matchmaking activity
d. Chat and Social Features
If you use chat or messaging features, we may process:
- Direct messages
- Chat requests
- Message reactions
- Blocking or privacy preferences
- Notification status
Users should not share sensitive personal information in chat.
e. Purchase and Reward Information
TACTO may store information related to virtual items and rewards, including:
- Owned items
- Equipped items
- Purchase history for virtual items
- Daily rewards
- Login rewards
- Reward claims
- Virtual currency transactions
If real-money purchases are added or used through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play. TACTO does not receive or store full payment card details.
f. Analytics and App Usage Information
We may collect app usage information to understand performance, improve gameplay, and protect the service, such as:
- Session activity
- Feature usage
- Game popularity
- Retention events
- Error and performance information
- General device/app version information
g. AI-Assisted Features
TACTO may use AI-assisted features to provide recommendations, summaries, or gameplay-related suggestions. When these features are used, relevant non-sensitive app context may be sent to an AI service provider to generate a response.
We do not intentionally send passwords, payment card details, or highly sensitive personal information to AI services.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Provide Google Sign-In authentication
- Save user profiles and preferences
- Run multiplayer games and tournaments
- Maintain match history and leaderboards
- Provide chat, notifications, and social features
- Manage virtual items, rewards, and inventory
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Detect abuse, cheating, fraud, or security issues
- Provide support and respond to user requests
- Comply with legal, platform, and safety requirements
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help operate TACTO, including:
- Supabase, for authentication, database, storage, realtime features, and backend services
- Google, for Google Sign-In and Google Play services
- AI service providers, for optional AI-assisted features
- Hosting, analytics, security, or infrastructure providers used to run the app
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, platform rules, or to protect the safety, rights, and security of users, TACTO, or others.
4. Public Information
Some information may be visible to other users inside the app, such as:
- Username
- Avatar
- Rating
- Game stats
- Leaderboard position
- Tournament participation
- Match-related public activity
- Online or in-game status, depending on settings
Users can manage certain privacy settings inside the app.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. These may include authenticated access, database security rules, secure backend functions, restricted update permissions, and encrypted transport where supported.
However, no online service can guarantee complete security. Users should keep their Google account secure and avoid sharing sensitive information in public or chat areas.
6. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide TACTO, maintain account features, support gameplay history, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Some gameplay, transaction, security, or compliance records may be retained even after account deletion if required for legitimate business, legal, anti-fraud, or platform compliance purposes.
7. Account Deletion
Users can request account deletion from inside the TACTO app.
Steps:
1. Open the TACTO app.
2. Sign in with the Google account linked to your TACTO profile.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Scroll to Danger Zone.
5. Tap Delete Account.
6. Type DELETE to confirm.
7. Submit the deletion request.
After a deletion request is submitted, the account profile may be disabled and anonymized, and a deletion request is recorded for backend processing.

8. User Choices and Controls
Users may be able to manage:
- Profile details
- Avatar and cosmetic items
- Online visibility
- Spectator settings
- Notification preferences
- Chat blocking preferences
- Account deletion request
Some settings may require an internet connection to sync.
9. Children’s Privacy
TACTO is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
10. Third-Party Services
TACTO may use third-party services that have their own privacy practices, including Google and Supabase. Users should review the privacy policies of those services for more information about how they handle data.
11. International Data Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, depending on the infrastructure used by our service providers. By using TACTO, you understand that your information may be processed where our service providers operate.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may notify users through the app, update notices, or other reasonable methods. The updated policy will show a new effective date.
