You cannot talk about the gift of God without talking about the first gift of God He gave to His Children.

The First gift God gave to His children is the gift of Salvation which is His son Jesus to save the world and mankind and He is still saving the world and men till today

The second gift is the Holyspirit. The gift of the Holyspirit is given to everyone as was evident when Peter was preaching to Cornelius and his household when all of a sudden, the holyspirit descended and filled the whole house. The spirit quickens.

The third gift is the gift of men. God gave gifts to men to the church. Eph. 4:11-12. This gifts are given for the preservation  and exhortation of the church. Through this gifts, saints are build up.

The main focus of our message is the Gift of the Holyspirit. The Holyspirit is the greatest gift of God to the Church. Every believer is expected to have this gift of the Holyspirit. A believer without the Holyspirit is like a withered body. It is expected that every Child of God should possess if not all  but one of these gifts.

These gifts are classified into three

1. The gift of Revelation: They include word of wisdom, words of Knowledge, discerning etc

2. The Gifts of Inspiration: Prophecy, diverse types of tongues, interpretation of tongues

3. The Gifts of Power: Faith, Healing and Working of Miracles

The word of wisdom: It is a spiritual revelation into divine will and purpose, showing how to solve problems when the need arises

The word of knowledge is a supernatural insight into the mind and plan of men which no man would have known otherwise. This means with this gift you can know God's mind. You can as well know what another man is thinking by assessing his mind without being told.

Discerning: this is a spiritual insight to detect spirits and read the mind of others. One with the gift of discernment can see the spiritual realm.

Prophecy is a divine inspired utterance in a natural tongue, God inspires whoever has this gift and gives him power to interpret it but now this gift is being abused. 

There are three sources of Prophecy

• From God

• Spirit of the Prophet

• From the devil

Diverse types of tongues this is an inspirational insight where people speak in different languages. It is an evidence of the holyspirit baptism Acts 2:4. They spoke in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance Acts15:13, Acts 19

Interpretation Of Tongues is an insight where another speak while the other explain in a native tongue, this is a divine gift.

The gift of faith is a supernatural ability to believe God without doubt or fear.

Healing is the supernatural ability to heal all maaner of diseases without human medicine without human medicine or ability. No believer is expected to be in the hospital, dragging hospital bed with unbelievers.

Working of Miracles is the supernatural power to intervene in the law of nature.
