I am an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. I obtained my Ph.D. from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a double major in Psychology and Music (piano) from The University of Iowa.
I have a broad interest in human visual cognition, with a particular focus in visual attention (e.g., object-based attention, sustained attention, visual search, multiple-object tracking). My research also investigates how attentional allocation shapes other cognitive processes (e.g., perception, memory) and subsequent behaviors.

My name is Michael Daniels and I am a second year Psychology Major in the Wood Honors College at Shippensburg University. I like the color red and my favorite animal is the panda. I've worked in multiple positions at a Cracker Barrel in my hometown of Carlisle although recently I have mostly been a server. I also help out with taking care of fourth and fifth graders at my church CEFC and am involved in the Reach Out Committee's fundraising subcommittee at Shippensburg
My name is Katelyn Fogg, and I am a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I recently completed an internship working with juvenile delinquents, which strengthened my interest in neuroscience and human cognition, particularly in relation to criminality. After graduation, I plan to attend postgraduate education or law school to pursue a career in exploring the psychological elements of criminals. Beyond academics, I serve as president of Psi Chi, sit on the Student Conduct Board and the Psychology Grade Appeals Committee, and am also an officer for NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness).
