At TabTidy Pro, we believe that your browsing habits are your business, not ours. This Privacy Policy explains how our browser extension handles information.
TabTidy Pro is designed to run entirely within your local browser environment.
Web History & Metadata: To provide core features such as tab grouping, duplicate detection, and session saving, the extension accesses the URLs, titles, and favicons of your currently open tabs.
Storage: Any data used by the extension (such as your saved sessions or suspended tab metadata) is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage.local API.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers.
No Tracking: We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies to monitor your behavior.
No Remote Access: We have no way of accessing your saved sessions, browsing history, or any other data processed by the extension.
TabTidy Pro requests the following permissions only to fulfill its single purpose:
tabs & host_permissions: To identify open pages for organization and suspension.
tabGroups: To organize your workspace into manageable categories.
storage: To save your sessions locally so you can restore them later.
alarms: To trigger the memory-saving "Auto-Suspend" logic.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. Since we do not collect your data in the first place, there is no data to share.
TabTidy Pro complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the User Data Policy regarding Limited Use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
