Our Rugby team started as a high school team back in 2010 at WR Myers High School. Since then we have made a club so our team can travel to different places where our athletes can learn more about rugby, play different teams, grow their love for the game, and to connect with the rugby community in different parts of our country and world.

Our Club has travelled to Wales, Victoria, and we hope to go to New Zealand in the summer of 2024.

Our team has come along way since the first year in 2010. We have gone from a brand new team, to having a strong junior varsity and a strong varsity team. Our team has made it to provincials 6 years and out of those 6 years, we have won 4 of the 6 years.  

Our hope by continuing these trips is that it will help grow our program even more and help more female athletes to be interested in rugby.

Requirements: 

• Must be in or entering grade 10, 11 or 12 in Sept 2023.

• Can pay the deposit for the trip

• Currently live in the Taber district and area

• Played 2024 Rugby Season

• Willing to attend meetings and fundraising events when available
