Welcome to Tabata Go (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Tabata Go (the “App”).
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage and technical data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data (for example, feature usage, session length, button taps, and screen visits)
Crash logs and performance analytics (through Google Play services, Firebase, or similar tools, if used)
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to improve app performance, stability, and reliability.
Tabata Go may store app content such as:
Workout timer settings such as rounds, work time, rest time, warm-up time, and cool-down time
Preset titles, labels, and timestamps
Local workout history, recent sessions, favorites, or saved presets (if available)
Sound, vibration, notification, and other workout-related preferences
On-device Storage: These records are stored locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your workout history, timer settings, or saved presets to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to share exported text or images, that content is handled by the destination app or service under its own privacy policy.
Tabata Go may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences (for example, language selection, sound on/off, vibration settings, notification options, theme options, or UI preferences)
Local caches and app resources used for faster loading
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar methods. We do not sync this data to our own servers.
If the App displays ads through Google AdMob or similar ad networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium features. Billing data, including purchase history, is handled by Google according to its own policies. We do not receive your full payment details.
If enabled, the App may use local notifications, foreground services, or similar system features to keep workout timers running and to alert you about countdowns, interval changes, or completed sessions while the App is in the background.
These notifications are generated on your device. We do not use them to collect personal data.
If the App provides copy, export, or share-related features, copied or shared content is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
We do not store user data on our own servers. App settings, caches, and any saved workout history or timer presets are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services such as ads, analytics, and billing under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure.
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These may include, but are not limited to:
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services / Firebase – for analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostics (if used)
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
