Troop 440 is an active girl-led Scout troop based in Spokane Valley, WA. We are the sister troop to Troop 400, the largest troop in the greater Spokane area. We chartered on February 1st, 2019 when the Boy Scouts of America officially allowed the formation of female troops.
We share the troop committee of Troop 400, allowing us to tap into the experience of well-trained adult leaders. Our aim is to have an outing at least once per month, all year long and in the summer months to go to a BSA summer camp. In addition to our outdoor program we will focus on leadership, community service, Scout skills and spirit, and the camaraderie that comes with a healthy Scout troop. We take pride in our troop and invite you to visit us in person. We meet Monday nights at 7:00 PM. Check the calendar on our home page for details or contact us here.

Troop 440 is a girls' troop within the "Scouts BSA" program, a part of the Boy Scouts of America, located in Spokane Valley, Washington. We are separate from the Girl Scouts. We love to go camping; we encourage leadership; teach outdoor skills; and perform community service. We teach merit badges to the youth so they can experience and become familiar with different hobbies and career fields.
