Ravindra Babu Tallamraju holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Data Mining) and an M.Sc.(Engineering by Research) in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Additionally, he earned an M.Sc. in Statistics from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
Dr. Tallamraju has held leadership roles in data science across prominent organizations, including serving as the Global Head of Data Science at Sahaj Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Vice President & Head of Data Science at Myntra Fashions Pvt. Ltd., Principal Data Scientist at Flipkart, and Principal Researcher at Infosys. Earlier in his career, he was a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India.
His research interests span computer vision, pattern recognition, genetic algorithms, and spacecraft orbital dynamics. Dr. Tallamraju has several publications and patents in these fields. He is also the author of the book Compression Schemes for Mining Large Datasets, published by Springer.
