Pain's self-titled debut was released in 1997, and since then Pain has released six more albums and a DVD. Starting with their second, all of Pain's albums have made the Swedish charts, thanks in large part to hit singles such as "End of the Line", "Shut Your Mouth", and "Same Old Song".[3] In early February 2006, Blabbermouth.net reported that Pain had signed with Roadrunner Records. Currently, Pain is under the Nuclear Blast Records banner. In 2008, Pain was on tour as a supporting performer for the Finnish symphonic power metal band Nightwish. During this tour singer Peter Tgtgren, drummer David Wallin, and bassist Johan Husgafvel were assaulted by a gang in Leipzig. Tgtgren received 10 stitches in his face, Wallin suffered a concussion and stitches to his head, and Husgafvel had his nose broken.[4]

Pain supported Nightwish on the second half of their Dark Passion Play World Tour, along with Finnish pop rock band Indica, beginning with the first show in London, UK on 11 March 2009. Pain released their seventh album, You Only Live Twice, on 3 June 2011 via Nuclear Blast. They released their eighth studio album entitled Coming Home on 9 September 2016.

Now let me officially kick off this album review by letting this one simple fact be known; I am a huge fan of Gideon, and I adore nearly everything that they have ever done as a band. Gideon so happens to be one of the very first bands that got me into heavier music, back when Milestone came into my life in my freshmen year of high school. While many bands of the late 2000s and early 2010s have long since left my playlist rotation, Gideon has been a consistent part of my listening habits for going on ten-plus years now. So, with that, it is expected that I am almost certain to find some sort of enjoyment in every piece of music that this band puts out. However, I could not have possibly expected them to release what I truly believe to be their best album 15 years into their career.

For my the second installment of my interview with Roger Miret of Agnostic Front (read Part 1 here), we delve deep into all aspects of the legendary NYHC album, Victim in Pain. This is appropriate timing because it's the 35th Anniversary of the original release. To coincide with the album's birthday, AF are releasing a new pressing of Victim in Pain on vinyl, as well as embarking on an upcoming US tour. Don't miss out!

Previously maligned by JAY-Z himself for popularizing the use of Auto-Tune, T-Pain shocked music fans with his vocal chops during a 2014 NPR Tiny Desk Concert and went on to win The Masked Singer in 2019. His last studio album, 1UP, also dropped in 2019.

Go Easy 02:47 buy track about Dusk was formed in 2014 by Amos Pitsch (bass guitar, vocals) and Colin Wilde (drums) as an informal recording project - mostly of obscure soul covers and country-rock indulgences - and later gained traction as members Julia Blair (described by Pitchfork Media as a smooth country-soul alto), Ryley Crowe (electric guitar, vocals) and Tyler Ditter (electric guitar, vocals) joined the fold at the onset of serious songwriting and recording. They recorded a series of demo recordings and later a 2 song single for Forward Records. They've toured America twice thus far; once doubling as the backing band for Tim Buchanan in Oklahoma City-based cosmic-cowboy punk band Cherry Death, and the other time doubling as an extended lineup of Pitsch's other group, Wisconsin punk band Tenement.

"The Pain Of Loneliness (Goes On And On)" was written by Amos Pitsch, and "Go Easy" was written by Tyler Ditter. Both cuts were arranged by the band and recorded mostly live at Crutch Of Memory, Dusk's home-base and recording studio in Appleton, Wisconsin. $(".tralbum-about").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_about"), "more", "less"); credits released March 23, 2018 license all rights reserved tags Tags americana appleton dirtnap garage punk rock & roll soul tenement garage pop punk Milwaukee Shopping cart subtotal USD taxes calculated at checkout Check out about Dirtnap Records Milwaukee, Wisconsin

And no, the he didn't choose to put his own spin on "Iron Man," which would've made sense given the iconic android voice (an early precursor to auto-tune) that introduces the song. Instead, T-Pain will be covering "War Pigs," and it actually doesn't sound like there'll be any auto-tune whatsoever on his version of the Paranoid standout. The album is said to showcase "the power of his natural voice," according to a press release.

"This covers album has been years in the making," T-Pain said in a statement. "I started recording this right after I won the Masked Singer. It got put on hold for a bit but now that I'm independent, I'm able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I've felt strongly about for a long time."

The album comes four years after T-Pain's sixth studio album, 1Up, which featured longtime collaborator Lil Wayne, Russ, O.T. Genasis and more. While he's continued recording music over the years, T-Pain has taken over Twitch with gaming company, Nappy Boy Gaming.

"This covers album has been years in the making," the 2-time Grammy-winner said in a statement about his upcoming album. "I started recording this right after I won The Masked Singer. It got put on hold for a bit but now that I'm independent, I'm able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I've felt strongly about for a long time. These songs are not what you'd expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album and that is what I think is cool about it.
