Hi, I am Rubaith, a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Data Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA. I hold a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
Before joining the PhD program, my work was published in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. My previous research and publications focused on solving different power system problems based on Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches. Currently, my work centers on medical informatics and biomedical ontology, where I apply language models and deep learning methods to develop advanced computational solutions.
I find it swashbuckling in battling different real-world problems with data-driven approaches. Consequently, in my previous work, I dedicated myself to addressing pressing real-world challenges by developing and applying advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to create robust, scalable, and data-driven solutions.
My research interest in mainly in applied machine learning, spanning from bioinformatics to computer vision. I am skilled in Python, MATLAB, and C++. I have experience with Tableau. TensorFlow, PyTorch, excelling in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, generative AI, and analytical problem solving.
In addition to my research, I serve as a graduate assistant for NJIT where I mentor students, develop course materials to enhance learning outcomes and collaborate with researcher to contribute in research projects. Outside academia, I enjoy competitive cricket, and am learning Japanese to broaden my cultural perspective.
