The school in numbers

1. The main aim of the project is encourage students of middle school in Pacanów to learn scientific subjects.

2. Date: 20th February - 30th April 2017

3. The problem: How to interprete and show the statistical data?

4. The objectives for students:

• They know how to work in a team
• They know how maths is useful especially in the context of statistics
• They can gather and analyse the collected data as well as show them in the shape of diagrams, charts and tables
• They know how to use the knowledge acquired on maths lessons in order to solve out-of-school problems

The tasks for groups:

• Creating a set of questions for other students of Gimnazjum concerning their school life and free time in the home environment
• Preparing the survey and carrying it among students
• The summary of analysis of the collected information
• The thorough study of the data and presentationof results in the form of diagrams, tables and charts as well as information on a notice board and digital presentation
