Computer systems and architecture are where innovation meets compute power, driving everything from cutting-edge AI to the latest tech we rely on every day.
This workshop is intended for women in undergraduate programs, specializing in CS/engineering, to learn more about careers in computer systems/architecture. This workshop will include panels, talks, and fun projects that aim answer questions such as:
What exactly is computer systems and architecture, and is it for me?
What makes it interesting, and why is it so relevant today and in the future?
Why jobs in computer systems can be very lucrative and what do they look like?
What would graduate school/PhD in this area look like? How and where to apply?
How do I get into it now?
You can also register to be matched with a faculty mentor who can help guide you in career choices, applying to grad school, and pursuing industry careers.
