Glitch: Take Yoshi Underwater, Delphino Plaza
Discovered by: Unknown
Description: This is a fairly major glitch and also very fun and useful, God knows how anyone ever came up with it. Anyway, to do this grab Yoshi in Isle Delphino. Take him to the building to the left of the statue and take him under the furthest left window. Now perform a spin jump, hold A and push inwards towards the building. When Yoshi reaches the seam between the wall and the roof he should float through. Now let go of A and you'll drop underground into a dark blue area. Now start jumping because if you stand still for more than a few seconds you die. Make your way out under the sea, (sometimes you'll end up in the underground pipes and have to start again) once here jump up and you should come up through the ground and land on the ground under water. Now you can run around under water to your heart's content. Once you come out of the water you can't go back.
(NOTE: This can also be done with Mario alone.)

Glitch: The Fruit Tree Glitches
Discovered by: Alan Sokol
Description:
Root Glitch: Grab the Tree
In Pianta Village, any episode, go to the fruit tree. Look at the underside of the tree. You should see a seam where the branches meet the dome. Position yourself under the seam, jump, and hover to the trunk of the tree. You should grab on. However, moving up or down is very limited. Move up, you "warp" to the top of the dome. Move down, and you grad the actual trunk.
Funny Glitch: Flying Sparks
Do the same as before, but position the durian one durian's width from the base of the tree. Then do the glitch, but without disturbing the durian, and move down to the trunk. Move yourself so that you are right over the durian -- and jump off the tree. You'll have to see it for yourself to believe it.

Glitch: Walk Inside Pianta Village and Walk Underwater, or rather, Stand.
Discovered by: Alan Sokol
Description: No, I am not kidding. I'm talkin' under the ground where you usually play the level. First, go to Episode Eight. Then go to the hot springs. The next part requires a lot of patience: wait there until you see a fluff very low to the ground, like two scale inches, then grab it. If you are close to the spring's walls, face your back to the wall. Then let the fluff carry you INTO the wall. Don't worry about jumping off: the fluff will poof out of existence. But when you fall off, mash the A button. You have about as much room as a triple jump's height in there, so when you fall, you won't expect it. Then move over to the pool, or jacuzzi, or whatever it is, and do a side somersault or a spin jump. Congratulations, you are underwater.

Glitch: Walk Underwater/Take Yoshi underwater, Ricco Harbour
Discovered by: Dom Dunc
Description: This comes from glitch discovered by Dyn721 over at the Centre for Glitch Studies, so he deserves most of the credit. Enter Ricco Harbour Story 8. Hatch Yoshi from his egg (make sure he is purple) take him to the wall near the beginning of the level with a mechanical spider crawling on it. Spray the spider with juice and quickly jump onto the platform you created. The platform should move into the wall and you should drop under the level. Now keep hopping, if you stand still you'll die. Now turn back towards the start of the level and make your way under some water (if you go this way, you should avoid the sewers) and simply hop up through the floor. Now you can now walk around at will underwater with Yoshi. An interesting side note is that there seems to be two layers of water, one at the water's surface, and one near the sea bed, when you're walking around at the bottom you'll notice the ripples and slower walking speed because of it. Also or note is that you can make your way underground to the barred off pipe that normally leads to the octo-race track and jump up into it.

Glitch: Walk Underwater, Gelato Beach
Discovered by: Dom Dunc
Description: Quite a tough glitch this, since there are some complications that prevent it from being straight forward. Grab a rocket pack and climb up to the highest wire in the level. Walk to the end of the wire look out towards the world boundary. Position the camera behind Mario, now bounce up and down and fire the rocket at the height of your jump, hold forward. You should connect with an invisible wall, keep holding forward and you should get stuck against this wall. Now let go of the stick and you should fall through the hill and land underground. Now keep hopping otherwise you die. Hop over to the sea and you'll find that an invisible wall blocks you from walking underwater. This is a problem. What you have to do is make your way to the right hand side of the little pier that leads to a hut in the water. You should be able to just about get underwater. Fire your rocket pack and you should land on the ground underwater. Now simply walk forwards and you should be walking underwater. There are several 'layers' of water under here (about 5 or 6) but you should be able to get under them by diving.

Glitch: Walk Underwater in the Lilypad Special Stage
Discovered by: Dom Dunc
Description: This is probably the toughest special stage to get too (it's the one on the island, with the entrance pipe covered in yellow jelly) Once inside the stage make your way to the end (either by lily pad, or walking down the sides) Where the water runs out of the end, you need to jump off and hover through the side of the waterfall and back onto the floor of the waterway (through the grating) As long as you don't touch the water's surface you'll be fine. Now you can run around underwater to your heart's content. A small note, if you press B to dive, then A, the jump is high enough to reach 6 of the 8 coins easily, without breaking the water's surface.

Glitch: Walk Underwater, During the Flood
Discovered by: Deathborn668
Description: We know where the Fruit Market is right? You know those little covers that you can jump really high on? On the opposite side of those covers are 2 more covers serving no reason except for this glitch. During the flood go to these 2 covers and get on the lower cover (One on right). Here's a drawing.

XX=Mario OO=Where Mario should fall
|=Poles for covers (Little graphic ^_^) -----------=The Covers.
Mario should dash not too fast though, to the right and
if you did it correctly should fall through point OO into the water. If I had a video camera I'd prove it. When falling from point OO you may fall slowly into the water, in which case you'll probably faze through the ground (Hover up so you touch solid ground) or fall quckly into the water and be standing under it. Enjoy!
Another thing is you must swim and walk on the cover, jumping ain't gonna work!

Glitch: Get to Pianta Village with only one Shine | Submitted by CHOCLAIR5 (Eric Pillwein)
Discovered by: Unknown, but this is fairly common knowledge and is easy enough to figure out.
Description: Get one shine (to leave the airstrip) and go to the shine gate. There are two methods to get up there, and one is to get behind it, back summersault into it, then wall jump, turn around and hover to get to the ledge near the big shine you have to clean to get a shine. The other method is to go into a manhole on the street level, and then jump back out. Hold forward, and hover and you should make it to the same ledge described above. Now face the opposite direction the dirty shine is (or was, depending on whether or not you accidentally sprayed it while hovering) originally, and triple jump (two small jumps, and then for the final jump hold A), turn around, and hover. Press A when you are at the peak of your hover to grab the ledge. Pull yourself up, and enter the tube. I myself discovered that when you use that glitch you can walk into the pipe and you'll go through it, entering the level.

Glitch: Walk Inside The Pianta Statue
Discovered by: CHOCLAIR5(Eric Pillwein)
Description: Go the statue in Delfino Plaza of the big Pianta(where the entrance to Bianco Hills is)and go behind it.Line yourself up with the middle fold in his cape, and back summersault. Now comes the difficult part. You need to start hovering pretty much PERFECTLY even with the cape, because if you go to high, you'll "slide" up him,and to low, you'll get stuck beneath the cape and you can't go any higher. If you get it right, you should go through the cape, and be in an invisible box, under the cape, which you normally can't get to.You will be stuck unless you jump,in which case you can go through other parts of the statue. There seems to be a certain area you have to stay in,or else you can't go through him,so don't wander too far.

Glitch: Endless Stars
Discovered by: CHOCLAIR5(Eric Pillwein)
Description: Go to Delfino Plaza in a file that still has Corona Mountain gated up and also still has the two barrels of water that are hanging around near one of the Piantas who wants fruit.Using the sewers, take both barrels up to the entrance to Corona Mountain(which should still be gated up).Place the barrels next to each other on top of the gap between the gate and the circular platform and run in between them.If the barrels are set up correctly,Mario will go into a huge fit of dizzyness, with stars appearing until you move out of the way/break the barrels.

Glitch: Cage Maze Bypass 2
Discovered by: CHOCLAIR5(Eric Pillwein)
Description: You can bypass the maze of cages under Pianta Village by using a little common sense. At the start of the episode, cross the bridge and head right til you get to the little stream/village.Swim there til you get to the waterfall. Now do side flips in and out of the water to spread the water forward towards the series of platforms where you complete the level. This will make the fire goop dissappear. You will need to cover a bit more than you can reach with a normal side flip,so once you have a lot gone,do a water side flip with a dive to cover more(you may get hurt but that's ok).Now just do a side flip+dive over the goop and you will be at the dry area near the end.Just climb the platforms, grab FLUDD,hose down the mayor and get the shine.

Glitch: Sky Diving | Submitted by Gamepro2407
Discovered by: Unknown
Description: To do this first you have to go to gelato beach on episode 6 (it does not matter which episode but this has yoshi in it) any way start and get yoshi and there is this yellow gel by the hut with fruit spray with yoshis juice and start to spray the plant there. Before and you have to time it correctly it goes down do a butt pound there and if you did it right you should be sent high in the air. Now you can jump off yoshi and press B to do a dive or you can do a ground pound,or spray with water, etc. You can do this virtually any where on this level. But the only bad thing is that sometimes you can be sent higher then the sun and won’t come back down and you will fall there forever and you will know because the sun will be directly underneath you. But sometimes the sun will be at the side of you and you will fall back down to gelato beach.
