Membership technicalities:

Membership of the Society is open to all, with reduced fees for students. When you register for the SASSB conference you become a member of the Society for the 18 months until the next conference. If you would like to become a member but are unable to attend the conference, please contact the conference organisers to arrange your membership. Contact Prof Conrad Matthee for fees arrangements.

Becoming a member allows you to have a voice at the AGM, held during the conference, propose amendments to the SASSB constitution, vote for council members and become eligible to hold office yourself.
