In 2025, I obtained the PhD in Applied Mathematics (Control, Optimization, Prospective) from Paris Sciences et Lettres University (Mines Paris – PSL), under the supervision of Prof. Welington de Oliveira and Prof. Sophie Demassey. This was a joint program with Électricité de France (EDF), dedicated to developing stochastic optimization methods for power systems management, modeled as nonconvex optimization problems.
My path in mathematics began with a deep interest in theoretical foundations, which led me to pursue a B.Sc. in Mathematics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, Russia. I specialized in noncommutative geometry and functional analysis and graduated in 2017.
I then moved to Paris to continue my studies through the Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Program at École Polytechnique. During my time there, I gradually shifted focus toward optimization. In 2019, I received a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Applications from Université Paris-Saclay (École Polytechnique).
During my Master’s internship in 2019, I joined EDF R&D, where I worked on power system tariffication. I then continued as an optimization engineer at Enedis (EDF Group).
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as an open innovation expert at EDF. My responsibilities included scouting startups and emerging technologies in energy-related fields, facilitating innovation transfer, and managing projects within startup accelerator programs.
