In 2025, I obtained a PhD in Applied Mathematics (Control, Optimization, Prospective) from Paris Sciences et Lettres University (Mines Paris – PSL), under the supervision of Prof. Welington de Oliveira and Prof. Sophie Demassey. The research was carried out in collaboration with Électricité de France (EDF) and focused on developing stochastic optimization methods for power systems management, with particular emphasis on nonconvex optimization models.
My path in mathematics began with a strong interest in theoretical foundations. I completed a B.Sc. in Mathematics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, where I specialized in noncommutative geometry and functional analysis. I then moved to Paris to continue my studies through the Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Program at École Polytechnique. During this period, my interests gradually shifted toward optimization. In 2019, I obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Applications from Université Paris-Saclay (École Polytechnique).
During my Master’s internship in 2019, I joined EDF R&D, where I worked on power system tariffication. I then continued within the EDF Group as an optimization engineer at Enedis.
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as an open innovation expert at EDF. In this role, I scouted startups and emerging technologies in the energy sector, supported the transfer of innovative solutions, and managed projects within startup accelerator programs.
