Meet the Pastor

Pastor Reco D. Johnson
A native of Morven, North Carolina, Pastor Reco D. Johnson was ordained as a Reverend in January 2009 by the Berea Baptist Association in Bennettsville, South Carolina. With a heart for ministry and a commitment to sound doctrine, he has faithfully served in various capacities within the church.

In April 2022, Reverend Johnson was installed as Pastor of Syrian Missionary Baptist Church in McColl, South Carolina, where he continues to lead with passion, purpose, and a strong dedication to biblical teaching.

Pastor Johnson is an active member of Lilesville Star Lodge #603 and the NAACP. He finds joy in giving back to his community and values the time he spends with his family. Above all, he is devoted to the calling of preaching and teaching the Word of God with clarity and conviction.

He is blessed to be supported in ministry by his loving and devoted wife, First Lady Elder Quantelya Johnson, who stands beside him in faith and service.
