One day Kay-T woke up like normal, went through her daily morning routine and then checked up on Amy. She isn’t there, Kay-T is too used to seeing her every morning and starts to get concerned, she calls Amy.

Meanwhile Amy woke up extra early and went to the nearest underrail, she needed to attend an interview. One she was ashamed to have to go to but there was no other option. The sister’s bank account was emptying more than Kay-T’s minimum wage job paid and the thought of being scrapped scared Amy to her core. While half way there she gets Kay-T’s call and assures her that she’s okay and gets Kay-T to calm down, Amy dodges telling her what she is doing though.

Eventually Amy shows up at the Cyco Main Building, the area creeps her out but she enters and finds the interview room. She has a tense and stressful interview with Cyrus, who manipulates her into signing the contract with threats. Amy leaves in a hurry and sits in the waiting room to tries and get a grip, and someone notices. L1Y walks up and tries to comfort her, Amy is shocked as she has never seen a Synthobot show emotion and talk. Amy takes a bit but she opens up eventually and ends up having a pleasant conversation with L1Y and gets her number.  

 Amy then takes the underrail back home, she decides to call Kay-T on the way but it comes back as a voicemail. Once Amy arrives back at her apartment she just lies down and snuggles up. She turns the TV on, expecting the usual, but instead there was some rather concerning news. “13 DEAD FROM POSSIBLE MURDER”, Amy is used to hearing about murders every once in a while, the underground is dangerous after all, but this was the first time she heard of a mass murder. Amy turns off the TV and goes to bed. 

Earlier Kay-T finished her shift and put on Do Not Disturb mode, she doesn’t like having to get notifications or calls, and head towards a nearby restaurant. There she meats up with her timid girlfriend Vio who also brought her pet Mio the axolotle. They eat and have a wonderful time, though Kay-T could tell something was bothering Vio. She asked what was wrong and Vio spilled, she told Kay-T about seeing Amy interview for a job a Cyco and Vio started breaking down out of stress and being so overwhelmed. Kay-T is pretty oblivious to what Cyco is and what goes on their so she just tries comforting Vio as much as she can. The two go back to their separate apartments and say their goodbyes.

It’s the next day and Amy’s first day, she doesn’t know what to expect exactly but she tries to stay hopeful. Kay-T comes with her to work as a visitor as she has the day off. When they arrive Amy gets immediately shocked by one of the managers coming out of nowhere and immediately giving her a piece of paper. Kay-T just goes away to a nearby eating area and starts bothering people. Amy reads the paper and finds out that she needs to go to block J7 and that she has been assigned the Job of “Scrap manager”. She’s confused but just finds her way there through the winding building of Cyco. 

Meanwhile Kay-T gets kicked out of the building for being a nuisance, but Cyrus does take note of her connection to Amy. Kay-T wanders around the cavern and finds a nice spot to sleep near a lake. She unknowingly leaves herself vulnerable and a certain someone takes the opportunity to strike. Celly dashes from the shadows and claws Kay-T, despite having the advantage Celly is still fought off by Kay-T as her high energy was to much for him. Kay-T asks him before he leaves what that was all about and who he is, and he just responds with “All you need to know is to stay quiet you sweet little pest”.

Amy meets Jello and finds out what really is her job, sorting out scrap. She doesn’t have much to do other than her job for the next 3 hours to she talks to and bonds with Jello quite a bit. She continues on with her day that ends up being uneventful, she notices Kay-T is roughed up a bit but she never tells Amy why. 

The next day was a Break day, the day once a week where everyone gets the day off. The two sisters went out for a day of fun that was sorely needed; they had pizza, Kay-T through her head into a fountain and they had to chase a pipeline to get it back, and made sand castles. It was all fun and games and at the end they went to Candy’s repairs to get all the water damage and Kay-T’s damage from yesterday fixed. The worker, still working as this job was considered crucial, was pretty cold but still takes up the job. The worker G.U.M gets Kay-T all fixed up, but continually asks her what happened for all the dents and scratches to be there. 

Kay-T continues to deflect and after the repairs are done she quickly leaves, leaving Amy behind. At this point Amy was way too concerned about her sister so she decides to run after her and try to force the information out of her. She catches up to her and takes her into the nearest alley. After a bit of berating Kay-T confesses about the whole Celly situation and starts to break down into tears. Amy is shocked but she comforts Kay-T and the two go back home and snuggle up and watch movies to get their mind off things. In the middle of the watch, Amy got a call that she needed to answer.

While Kay-T continued watching, Amy goes into her own room and accepts the call. It was Cyrus, who got her number from the sign up forum, and he was quite angry. Cyrus started yelling at Amy saying how she needs to come in now, Amy was to scared to talk back. Cyrus hangs up, and Amy sneaks out the door and tells Kay-T that she has to go buy something from the store. Amy rushed through the streets,and thankfully got to the station before blackout. Amy hopped aboard the train and watched as all the lights turned off and everything was left to darkness.

Amy looked around to see if she was alone and thankfully she was, at least to her knowledge. She sat down, plugged herself in for a energy boost and started zoning out. After a couple of minutes she hears some creeks and cracks coming from further down and the train halts. Amy hears people walking and soon sees piercing white eyes from the back of the carriage. Without uttering a sound the person looks around, Amy ducks to go unnoticed and notices a vent next to her. With no other option she opens the vent and jumps out the train, immediately starting to run as fast as she can.

She gets to Cyco headquarters safe and sound but on low power, she fumbles around a bit and plays with a metal pipe before getting to Mr Cyrus’s office. He is there, sitting on the chair towering over the rest of the room. Amy plugs in and sits down. Cyrus stares at her with a sinister grin, ready to break the news.
