Seen here is the 10-page brand style guide that was designed for the fictional company, Wakeport Motors. It is a premium car dealership that specializes in high-end automobiles. Although there were other business ideas to choose from, a car dealership seemed the most appealing to me simply because of my rising interest in supercars.
This particular project had its ups and downs, as creating the layout for certain sections proved to be fairly complicated, most notably the two pages focused on logo design. By experimenting with the way each one looks, I managed to eventually produce a layout that worked well.
It was quite the experience designing a professional-looking style guide, seeing everything come together is without a doubt my favorite part of graphic design. The one thing I would like to do differently is better utilize the space each page has, as some areas are unusually empty. This project had me learning new ways to organize the elements that make up a design and ensuring that it all fits together.
