Produit par Hohner entre le milieu des années 1940 et le début des années 1950,le Multimonica a été l'un des premiers synthétiseurs analogiques produits en série avec des circuits conçus par l'ingénieur allemand Harald Bode.

Le Multimonica II dispose d'un synthétiseur générateur monophonique en dents de scie au clavier supérieur et d'un harmonium à anche soufflé par un ventilateur au inférieur. L'instrument original dispose d'un haut-parleur, et d'un vibrato généré par un tube a gaz néon, de 6 sons de synthé préréglés, de 2 commutateurs pour le filtrage des harmoniques et de 3 commutateurs pour la vitesse et l'amplitude du vibrato, ainsi que deux genouillères pour le contrôle du volume du synthétiseur et du debit d'air pour l'harmonium.

Le circuit est basé sur des tubes EL41, ECC40 et EF40.

The Multimonica II features a sawtooth monophonic generator synthesizer on the upper keyboard and a fan-blown reed harmonium on the lower. 

The original instrument has a speaker, and a vibrato generated by a neon gas tube, 6 presets  synth sounds, 2 switches for filtering harmonics and 3 switches for speed and speed. amplitude of the vibrato, as well as two knee pads to control the volume of the synthesizer and the air flow for the harmonium.

The circuit is based on EL41, ECC40 and EF40 tubes.
