Welcome to SyncParents. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of you and your children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you sign in via Google Authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your account.

• Baby Records: We collect data you voluntarily enter, such as your child's name, birth date, feeding logs, diaper changes, medications, and temperature readings.

• Family Syncing: To enable real-time syncing between parents, we generate a unique FamilyID that links your account with other family members you invite.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app’s core functionality (real-time tracking and syncing).

• To facilitate collaboration between family members.

• To provide "Next Event Predictions" based on your logged history.

• To send push notifications for updates made by other family members.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Firebase: Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase (Firestore).

• Security Rules: We implement Firestore Security Rules to ensure that your child's data is only accessible by users belonging to the same FamilyID.

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google Cloud services.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Authentication: For secure user login.

• Cloud Firestore: For data storage and real-time syncing.

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): For push notifications.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or baby-related data to third parties. Data is only shared between family members who have explicitly joined your specific FamilyID.

7. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

As we operate with users in the EU (and globally), you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.

• Correct any inaccuracies.

• Request the deletion of your account and all associated baby records.

• Export your data (available upon request).

8. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and associated baby logs will be permanently deleted from our Firebase servers within 30 days.

Account Deletion & Data Removal

"At AION SyncParents, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated data (including baby logs and profile information) at any time directly through the app. Simply navigate to the Profile section and tap 'Delete Account'. Once confirmed, your account and all stored data will be permanently removed from our Firebase servers. Alternatively, you can request data deletion by emailing us at evangelosinfor@gmail.com, and we will process your request within 48 hours."

Payments & Lifetime Access

• One-Time Purchase: The "SyncParents Pro" plan is a one-time, lifetime payment. Once purchased, you will have permanent access to all premium features without any recurring monthly or yearly fees.

• Payment Processing: All transactions are securely processed via the Google Play Store. SyncParents does not collect or store your credit card or financial information.

• Family Sharing: Your lifetime purchase is linked to your Google Play account. You can share this access with your partner by using the "Link Account" feature within the app.

• Refunds: Since payments are handled by Google, all refund requests must be submitted directly through the Google Play Store support and are subject to their specific refund policies.

• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the price of the Lifetime plan for new users at any time. Your existing purchase will not be affected by future price changes.
