This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Synca mobile application ("the Service") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. We use Your personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Interpretation
The words with initial capitalization have meanings defined under the following conditions. The definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service.
Application means the Synca software program provided by the Company and downloaded by You on any electronic device.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Synca.

Device means any device that can access the Service such as a smartphone or tablet.

Audio recordings, transcriptions, or call summaries (processed and stored for personalization)
Voice usage history, preferences, and bundle purchase logs

Usage Data is collected automatically and may include:
Device type and OS version

Time, duration, and frequency of app usage
Crash logs and diagnostic reports
Information Collected During Use
With Your explicit consent, Synca may access:
Your microphone (for voice interaction)
Notification permissions (for push reminders)
We do not access your contacts, camera, photos, or precise location.
No Facial Data Collection
Synca does not collect, process, or store any facial data or biometric identifiers. The application does not access the device’s camera or use facial recognition, facial tracking, or emotion detection technologies. Any avatar animations or visual effects are purely audio-driven and do not involve face-related data in any form.
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the Service
To personalize conversations and improve memory-based responses
To send you contextual push notifications based on prior interactions
To manage Your Account (if applicable)
To monitor app performance and usage trends
To manage and deliver prepaid voice minutes bundles that allow access to voice-based conversations
To fulfill transactions and manage subscription or billing records
Synca uses the following third-party services:

Deepgram (speech-to-text processing) – https://deepgram.com/legal/privacy
These services may process parts of your interaction (e.g., voice, transcripts) for real-time response delivery. No third party receives full conversation history or identifiable memory content.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations. Voice interaction summaries are retained securely in Firebase Firestore and used to improve future conversations. You may request deletion at any time.
Your data may be processed in locations outside your state, province, or country. We ensure any transfer follows applicable data protection laws and uses appropriate safeguards.

If You purchase minutes or other features in the app, payments are processed securely through Apple or Google’s in-app purchase systems. We do not store or access your card details. Your billing data is governed by:
Synca does not respond to Do Not Track signals. Some third-party websites may track your browsing activity. You may adjust your browser settings accordingly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. You will be notified via the app or by email. Changes are effective upon posting.
