Synapse is a professional learning community for Biology/Science Teachers across Scotland, promoting the sharing of learning and teaching resources.
Synapse is maintained by SSERC, supported by the Royal Society of Biology in Scotland.
"Making a professional commitment to learning and learners that is compatible with the aspiration of achieving a sustainable and equitable world embodies what it is to be a teacher in Scotland. This means teachers commit to living the professional values...it is demonstrated by working collegially with all members of our learning communities with enthusiasm, adaptability, critical thinking and associated constructive, professional dialogue" - GTCS, Standards for Full Registration.
The resources submitted for sharing with the wider teaching community will be available on a Shared Google Drive. To access this drive, you must be part of the Synapse mailing list. For access, please contact synapsebiology@gmail.com
Disclaimer: The resources submitted to the drive are produced by teachers and are not quality assured by SSERC or the RSBS. Please contact synapsebiology@gmail.com if you have any concerns.
