Terms and Conditions

This contract is made between Sylwia Drozynska - Sylwia's Pet Paradise and I (the Client)

1. I (the Client) authorise Sylwia's Pet Paradise to provide and perform pet care services as agreed and in signing this contract I understand and accept these terms and conditions.

2. I authorise Exploring with Sylwia to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary whilst my dog(s) is in their care. I accept full responsibility for all costs related to this emergency care. I authorise Exploring with Sylwia to use an alternative veterinarian in the event that my regular veterinarian is unavailable, or the urgency of the situation necessitates this. Exploring with Sylwia will endeavour to contact me prior to obtaining emergency care. 

3. I will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages/claims resulting from an injury to the dog walker or other persons/animals as a result of the actions of my dog(s).

4. All bookings for first time customers are subject to a meet and greet before the booking is confirmed.

5. I agree that Payment should be paid within 48 hours of the dog being collected.

6. Exploring with Sylwia will inform you of any incident, or unusual/unacceptable behaviours involving your dog(s) whilst in our care.

7. I agree to pay for any repairs to any property or furniture for damage caused by my dog(s). Where a repair is not possible, I agree to pay for a replacement item(s).

8. I consent to photographs and videos of my dogs to be taken for the purposes of sharing our fun on social media and on our website/ advertising and promotional materials.

9. I understand that there may be dogs from other households boarding at the same time as my dog. Separate rooms are available should they need to be separated. 

10. I understand my dog(s) may occasionally be left at home for up to 2 hours at a time.

11. I understand that the boarding fee is currently £35 per day, which starts on the day you drop off your dog, irrespective of drop off and collection times. Extra Charges apply for Christmas Holiday. (24/12 - 01/01)

12. Cancellation Boarding: Policy: For all stays less than 5 nights, 2 weeks. notice is required. For stays of 5 nights or over, 4 weeks notice is required. If these notice periods are not given, 50% of the total cost of the stay will need to be paid within 48 hours. Failure to make payment will mean you will not be able to book your dog in again.

If the pet(s) becomes ill or is injured while under the care of the Provider, I authorise for my pet(s), to be taken to my registered Veterinarian (or one who is available) if this is needed in the Provider’s best judgement. I authorise the Provider to approve any emergency treatment recommended by the Veterinarian and I agree to pay in full to the Provider any charges incurred. I am responsible for any bills (transportation, treatment and expense) whilst my pet(s) is in the care of the Provider. 

15. I understand it is my responsibility to ensure that adequate pet insurance is in place for my pet(s).

16. I will provide all my pet(s) food, bowls, lead, collar or harness, coat, muzzle and any other items relating to the care of my pet(s) for the duration of the agreed contract of care.

17. Pet care services will be provided for the period and rate agreed and I agree to make payment in full for these services to the Provider in advance by either cash, debit card or bank transfer.

18. I agree to reimburse the Provider any additional costs incurred in tending to emergency or veterinary care as well as any expenses incurred for any other unexpected home, food or other requirements.

19. I expressly waive and relinquish any and all claims against Sylwia's Pet Paradise and it is understood and agreed that the Provider will not be held responsible for any damage to the Client’s property, or that of others, caused by the Client’s pet(s) during the period in which they are in her care.

20. I agree to notify the Provider of any illness, injury or behavioural problems pertained to my pet(s) during the time this contract is in place. I understand that the Provider reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the nature of the illness, injury or behavioural issue cannot be catered for.

21. I will ensure that my pet(s) has had any necessary vaccinations and boosters and that regular treatment for fleas and worms is given. I will not hold the Provider responsible for any flea or worm infestations that I notice nor for any illness or diseases that occur.

22. If I need to cancel any pet services arranged, I understand that I must give at least 48 hours’ notice otherwise I will be liable for the full cost of the service.

23. I authorise this contract to be valid approval for services provided by Sylwia's Pet Paradise and to permit acceptance of my telephone and email reservations and allow her to enter my premises without any additional signed contracts or written authorisations. I give my permission for Sylwia's Pet Paradise to contact me via text SMS, phone or email to discuss any bookings of services and understand my details will not be shared to any third parties without my consent.

24. I will either ensure that access is given to the Provider to collect the Dog from the agreed address at the agreed times or give the Provider a key to the place where the Dog is kept. The Provider will use the key to collect and return the Dog and for no other purpose and will keep it safe, not let anyone else have it, not copy it and will return it to the Client on demand.

25. I agree to authorize the Provider to handle any emergencies that may arise. The Provider will make every effort to contact the Client; however, the Client gives authority to the Provider to act in the animal’s best interest.

26. I give permission for my pet(s) to be photographed occasionally for use on the Provider’s website and Facebook Page and for identification purposes in the event of an emergency.

27. Sylwia's Pet Paradise will not carry out any booking without a consultation, consent forms and these signed terms.

28. Full payment is required in advance of any appointment, a minimum deposit of 50% is required at time of booking.

29. I agree to reimburse Sylwia's Pet Paradise for any additional fees for providing emergency care, as well as any expenses incurred for unexpected visits, transportation, housing, food, or supplies.

30. I will be responsible for any medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the pet sitter by the pet.

31. I agree to notify Sylwia's Pet Paradise of any concerns/complaints within 24 hours of any appointments.

32. Muddy dogs are often happy dogs. The Client will provide a towel in case of dirty walks - Sylwia's Pet Paradise will make every effort to return their dog in a clean manner given time restrictions.

33. Sylwia's Pet Paradise has insurance to walk up to six dogs at a time. Most of the time your dog will be walked with two other friendly dogs unless a solo walk is booked - in which case it will just be your dog/s.

34. Sylwia's Pet Paradise reserves the right to cancel future bookings if the dog does not respond well to the walker or other dogs in or out of their care. A refund will be scheduled for the amount of remaining night.

35. Sylwia's Pet Paradise agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the Client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Sylwia's Pet Paradise, its employees or assigns, except those arising from negligence of the pet sitter.

36. Sylwia's Pet Paradise accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement. During all assignments pet care will only be undertaken by Sylwia's Pet Paradise owner or employees, unless prearranged with Client.

37. Sylwia's Pet Paradise will not let any dog off his/her lead unless express owner consent has been given.

38. Sylwia's Pet Paradise is not responsible for damage incurred by pet escaping because of a faulty leash/collar or a collar that is not properly fitting.

39. All dogs must be microchipped and be wearing a dog tag when walked. The dog tag must include the owners details including a phone number. This is to comply with the law and to ensure if we meet a warden we are not fined. Any fine incurred will be passed on to the owners.

40. Sylwia's Pet Paradise will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

41. It is expressly understood that Sylwia's Pet Paradise shall not be held responsible for any damage to Client’s property, or that of others, caused by Client’s pets during the period in which they are in its care.

42. This agreement is valid for all future visits until a new agreement is signed. Sylwia's Pet Paradise reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion; likewise, Client may terminate this agreement at any time.

43. Pet Taxi - We hold full insurance for transporting your valuable animals and we are happy to act as a chaperone to your pet if required. If required to take to vets/groomers on your behalf please ensure payment is arranged.

44. I will provide all necessary information for my dog to Sylwia's Pet Paradise.

45. Sylwia's Pet Paradise agrees to love and care for your pet/s whilst you are absent.
