THE SHORT VERSION
My apps don't collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. I don't run any servers, and I have no access to what you store in my apps.
WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES
Everything you enter stays on your devices. If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. I can't see or access it.
FACE ID AND TOUCH ID
When an app offers Face ID or Touch ID, Apple's system handles the check. My apps never receive or store your biometric data.
NO THIRD PARTIES
No advertising, analytics or tracking tools are included in my apps. Nothing you enter is sold, shared or used to identify you. Any exception is listed below, for the app concerned.
MYAPP: ADDITIONAL DETAILS
MyApp is a password manager, so here is exactly how it handles your information:
• End-to-end encryption: your vault is encrypted on your device before it is saved or synced to iCloud. It can only be opened with your master password and your Secret Key, which I never receive. I have no way to open your vault or recover your master password.
• Website icons (optional): to show a website's icon, the app contacts that website directly and requests only its icon, by domain name. Nothing from your vault is sent. You can turn this off at any time in Info → Tools.
• Breach check (only when you ask): Security Check can compare your passwords against the Have I Been Pwned database. Only the first 5 characters of a password's SHA-1 hash are sent; your passwords themselves never leave your device.
• AutoFill and transfers: filling, saving and transferring credentials go through Apple's system features. Nothing passes through me.
CHILDREN
My apps are not directed to children and collect no data from anyone, including children.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
