David Gonzalez is the Head Coach and Founder of Scrap Yard Garage Wrestling Club in Yakima, Washington.
With years of competitive coaching experience and national-level exposure, Coach David specializes in developing wrestlers in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman disciplines. He holds USA Wrestling coaching credentials and has coached athletes at state, regional, and national tournaments.
Coach David’s philosophy is simple:
Discipline. Accountability. Mental Toughness.
He focuses on:

Coach David believes wrestling is more than a sport. It is a tool to build resilient young men and women prepared for life beyond the mat.
