SYF Shortcuts respects your privacy. Your settings and data stay on your own device, and the extension only contacts an external service when you actively use a tool that needs it.
We do not collect personally identifiable information.
We do not collect or track your browsing history.
We do not read, scrape, or transmit the content of the pages you visit.
We do not log clicks, keystrokes, mouse movement, or analytics.
We do not sell or share user data, and we do not use it for advertising, lending, or creditworthiness.
Your settings, notes, favorites, custom shortcuts, and preferences are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local and are removed when you uninstall the extension. No executable code is downloaded or run from remote servers — all code is bundled inside the extension package.
External requests are made only when you actively use the matching tool, and carry only the minimum needed:
Currency converter → open.er-api.com — a 3-letter currency code (e.g. USD). No personal data.
Translation → api.mymemory.translated.net — the text you choose to translate, plus source/target language.
Internet speed test → speed.cloudflare.com — a standard network request to measure speed. No personal data.
These requests are used solely to provide the requested feature and are never used to track users.
