Syed Safdar Shah is a dedicated education professional, researcher, and social contributor, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), Karachi. He is currently serving as a Program Support Officer at SZABIST University, Karachi, where he contributes to academic program coordination, curriculum support, and administrative operations within the Faculty of Management Sciences.

Safdar has diverse experience across academia, research, and development sectors. He previously served as an Academic Associate at Charter for Compassion Pakistan, where he supported teaching, research, and curriculum-related activities. He also worked as a Management Trainee Officer (MTO) in the Academics Department, gaining hands-on experience in report writing, data analysis, assessment, school operations, and academic event management. In addition, he contributed as a Research Associate with the Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC), where he was involved in data collection, analysis, and research reporting for academic projects.

His teaching and training experience includes roles at Subhan Public School, Bahria College Karim Campus, and Sindh Madressatul Islam Model School, where he actively contributed to classroom teaching and practicum-based learning. He has also conducted workshops on academic writing and behavioral awareness, including sessions on drug abuse and its impact on holistic student development, reflecting his strong commitment to student well-being and community engagement.

Safdar has demonstrated leadership through his role as Curator of TEDx SMIU and as a Campus Ambassador for MilKar Foundation and Youth Impact, where he organized and led multiple social initiatives, including plantation drives, winter drives, and community support programs.

His academic contributions are further strengthened by his research profile. He is the author and co-author of multiple research publications in national and international journals, with research interests in education, curriculum studies, environmental education, leadership, emotional intelligence, and youth development. He has also presented research papers at various national and international conferences hosted by institutions such as SZABIST University, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, and other recognized universities in Pakistan.

Safdar’s efforts have been recognized through several awards and honors, including the Flood Hero Award (Prime Minister’s International Recognition), Best Content Creator Award, and multiple certificates of appreciation for his academic and volunteer contributions. He is also a co-author and co-editor of Braille-based soft books, promoting inclusive and accessible education.

With strong skills in research, academic writing, project coordination, and digital tools such as MS Office and SPSS, Safdar continues to enhance his professional capacity through continuous learning. As an emerging academic and research professional, his long-term goal is to contribute to education reform, impactful research, and community development through innovative and inclusive practices.
