This study analyzes Pakistan’s fisheries stakeholders, their roles, interactions, and influence. The study also employs Stakeholder Network Analysis (SNA) to identify key partners for positive change in fisheries management.


Project Title:

 Socio-Economic development and public satisfaction in Pakistan: A provincial and district level comparison

Applied Economics Research Centre(AERC), 2019-2020

Here we Examined the nexus between outcome and impact of public health, education and water services, across the districts in Pakistan. This study employed 3 different waves of Pakistan social and living standard measurement surveys i.e. 2006-07, 2012-13&2014-15.

Project Title:

Public private partnership(PPP) in education exploring the effectiveness of Sindh Education Foundation

Funded:

OXFAM 2019-2020

This study based on survey of 51 schools in 7 districts of Sindh, key informant interviews with officials from Ministry of Education and SEF partners and focus group discussions with multiple stakeholders. Intentional observation was used to assess the status of PPP schools, their physical facilities and their operational effectiveness.

Review of current landlords/hari/sharecropping arrangements in Sindh

FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION (F.A.O),2018.

This study analysis the sharecropping arrangements in Sindh for which a survey of eight districts of Sindh to evaluate and review the existing situation of landlord and tenant relationship was conducted.

Youth Participation in Technical Education and Garment Industry: A Case Study of Sultanabad, Lyari, and Korangi.

This study, based on primary data analysis, is an effort to explore the demand and supply-side issues in households, garment factories, and technical/vocational training institutes related to training and employment of the vulnerable and at-risk youth residing in the violence affected areas of Karachi namely, Sultanabad, Lyari, and Korangi.

This project was an extensions of the previous project where we estimated elasticities of private investment with respect to aggregate and sectoral public investments to find crowding-out or crowding-in phenomena in Pakistan. The study also reveals the changes in labor absorption or replacement due to additional capital and the effects on output

This study based on secondary data of sectoral investment, output and employment which is used to estimates the elasticities of private investment with respect to public investment to find crowding-out or crowding in phenomenon in Pakistan which also help to find out the long term marginal productivity and rate of returns. The study also reveals the changes in labor absorption due to additional capital and in how many years the initial investment will be recovered.
