Hi! I'm, Sydney Azbell, a born-and-raised Hoosier with a brain wired for motorsport and a heart that beats for the roar of an engine. I’ve spent years obsessing over Formula 1, not just watching it, but studying it, living it, breathing it. And I’m not here to just spectate. I’m here to contribute.
Some of my earliest memories are of standing trackside with my dad, engines screaming past us, the smell of rubber and oil in the air. That chaos? That electricity? I thrived in it. From that moment on, I knew I belonged in motorsport.
Let me be absolutely clear: I want to travel with the team. I want to be on the ground at every race, sweating through the chaos, feeling the heartbeat of the paddock. I want to haul gear in the rain, reset hospitality in the dark, and run on fumes between flights. That’s where I belong—in the middle of the madness, doing real work with real people who live for this sport. Basecamp is great, but the racetrack is where I come alive.
I know breaking into Formula 1 is brutal. And I know you’ve probably got hundreds of people waving degrees and credentials. But here’s the difference: I don't need a paved path—I’ll make my own way. I’m not asking for special treatment or shortcuts. Just give me the chance, and I will prove how invaluable I am. I’ll show up, go above and beyond, and make you wonder how you ever managed without me.
And while I’ll outwork anyone in the paddock, I’ll also be the one keeping the mood high. I’m stupid easy to get along with, always smiling, never complaining, and the kind of person you want in your crew when the pressure’s on. No drama. No ego. Just pure energy and a relentless drive to lift the whole team.
I’ve worked at golf courses, hotdog stands, museums, and clinics. I’ve handled VIP guests, grease-slicked grills, ancient artifacts, and injured athletes. What do all those jobs have in common? I showed up, adapted fast, and got work done. No complaints. No excuses.
I’m not picky about my entry point. Logistics? Hospitality? Social media? Staying late after a long race weekend to tear everything down?
Absolutely. I’ll be there. Because I don’t just want to be part of F1—I want to be useful. I want to be someone a team can depend on. Someone they trust to handle pressure, stay calm, and bring energy when it’s 2am and everyone’s dead on their feet.
I’m graduating high school this May with an academic honors diploma, my first year of college already finished, and a whole lot of fire in my gut. I’ve got three years of Spanish under my belt and I’m teaching myself German and Italian—because F1 is global, and I plan to be ready. I also know my way around social media, content editing, and branding, so if you need help keeping your online presence as sharp as your car setup? I’ve got you.
Look, I know I’m not your typical candidate. I don’t have a famous last name or a motorsport internship on my resume. But I do have grit, adaptability, and zero fear of hard work. I’m a young woman from Indiana with racing in her blood and everything to prove.
So here it is. My shot. My full send. Put me on the road. Put me to work. Give me one opportunity, and I’ll make myself impossible to ignore. No limits. This is my calling, and I’m all in.
