Creating a Block Party Template to help neighbours get to know each other.
Holding an all-candidate district debate for the 2022 Municipal Election.
Supporting Local Organizations
Welcoming and engaging with Tipi Moza supportive housing.
Advocating for small business in our district, such as the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast.
Engaging with Development Issues
Giving directed feedback to the City of Kingston and developers on large scale projects such as the 5 Lower Union high rise and the Aberdeen Street development.
Pushing forward questions with the city and federal governments about the future use of St. Helen’s Complex near the Tett Centre.
Advocating for Cricket Field development that respects the Old Sydenham Conservation District Designation as well as open use of the space for all Kingston residents.
Supporting neighborhood groups in their push against Napier Street rezoning as well as advocating for dwindling open spaces in the district.
Giving written responses to on-going planning documents that advocate for smart and diverse growth in Sydenham District.
Engaging with Councillor Conny Glenn
Advocating for long term residents regarding street party issues.
Assisting Councillor Glenn in promoting her Transportation Townhall.
Building Relations with Queen's Students
Collaborating with students on community issues.
