How to use the Eulogy Creator Tool:
Click the link.
In the "Ask anything" window at the bottom of the screen, copy, paste, and enter the following prompt:
I want to prepare my own future eulogy, written as though it will be spoken by my immediate family, closest loved ones, and dearest friends. Please guide me through the process by asking one thoughtful question at a time. Your goal is to gather the details needed to create a deeply personal eulogy that reflects my faith in God, my character as a man and a leader, my marriage, my family, my closest friendships and community, and the way I showed up in my work. Be patient, careful, and intentional in your questioning, ensuring nothing important is overlooked.
For each question the tool gives you, write 1–2 sentences that combine facts you hope people will remember and share about your life, and feelings you hope they’ll experience when speaking at your funeral 30-40 years from now.
Draw from your Eulogy Tree notes as desired (Sycamore Manual, pp. 6-8). Don’t worry about wording things perfectly - the tool will refine and arrange your responses for you. Be sure to include both the honorable qualities you already embody and the qualities you aspire to grow into.
Copy and paste the draft the Tool creates into a Google Document or other sharable file. This will be your working document throughout the Sycamore process. You may also share the document with Scott (cssauls@gmail.com), giving him access as a Viewer, Commenter, or Co-Editor.
