I had internship at Alam Haruman Design Sdn Bhd. for 4 months. The objective of the centre is to meet government's call towards upgrading the landscape resources, the planning and development of landscape in the effort to develop a conducive environment, be environment friendly, creating a better neighborhood image, promote racial harmony and creating high quality of living.
Our practice of Landscape Architecture is an exploration of the professional knowledge, and understanding of landscape as a reveal to Sustainable Development. As the Malaysian public is gaining more awareness and appreciation of landscape that translate into beautifying their environment, Alam Haruman Design will bring the landscape design inspiration to them.
Landscape Architect Assistant (Internship)

General tasks during diploma internship as Landscape Architect Assistant :
Assisting Landscape Architect in designing stage, construction drawing and 3D development design stage
Manage to create design idea and plants selection for landscape project
Attend to the meeting with Landscape Architect, Director and clients
Assisting Landscape Architect to the site visit for collecting inventory and analysis data

Solving the semi-active and safety issues at linear recreational park.
Assist LA to the site visits, and meeting with clients.
Experience to deal with clients and working together with Certificate Arborist about plants that want to be remove

There are two design for the clients to choose the best for them. Both design have same function and safety with different design.
DOUBLETREE HOTEL, PUTRAJAYA
The big scale of landscape projects at Doubletree hotel, Putrajaya, with the maintain of previous concept of the Hotel which is Balinese Concept :
Creating the new design at the center of the hotel. Add on softscape and hardscape at the area.
Preserve and creating green features and facilities along the entrance, pathway and exit of the hotel as the green belt for peoples

Curvi-linear design of space
Mix-function of facilities and green features
Maintain several elements of the space such as water features

APARTMENT SUNGAI LONG
The small scale of landscape projects at Sungai Long Apartments. The objective are to create recreational space for residents such as playground and green space
MARRIOT HOTEL
Marriots Hotel, Kuala Lumpur :
Green space at hotel's corridor with rain garden, garden bed and shade tree.
Simple hardscape such as seating area and entrance signage
HOSPITAL KUALA PILAH
The first project and my favourite tasks is landscape project at Kuala Pilah Hospital because its a challenging task as the team has to create design for patient or visitor for health space. There are two stages of design which is the entrance of hospital at ground floor and recreational space at rooftop.
SUKE HIGHWAY & AMPANG RIVER
The important task in this project is planting design. The several types of design during this project such as recreational area alongside Ampang river, planting design alongside the road and others.
Using Cad and SketchUp is the most work that I have involved in. With the built of hardscape such as facilities and activities area. The arrangements of planting for road and activity space.
