RESARONG

Having connecting roads chaining throughout the whole Iskandar Puteri, Medini City progressively turns into a well developed plan and well connected transportation footprint city from Malaysia to Singapore. Envisioning a 'Smart City', Iskandar Puteri is to produce a smart, sustainable community where residents, investors and visitors are able to experience a place thats uniquely liveable, connected efficient and safe. Therefore, this project focuses on designing and proposing a research and training centre with environmental sustainability to be taken account in a particular field or typology choosen.

RESARONG is a fashion textile research and training centre serving in the Business District of Medini City. The idea of how sustainable fashion should be done which is to be worn again after reusing, recycling or upcycling is enhanced as it is inspired by the fashion design students' works and how the Raffles University encourage their students to adapt sustainable environment onto their design practices.
