Title: Multiscale characterization and modelling of carbon, water, and water use efficiency fluxes of agro-ecosystems in India.
Impact Statement: This research aims to elucidate the dynamics and controlling drivers of carbon, water, and water use efficiency (WUE) fluxes in agricultural croplands, with a primary focus on maize crop systems in India. The study integrates extensive field observations with ecohydrological modeling approaches and culminates in the development of novel upscaling strategies to enhance the understanding and prediction of flux processes across scales.

Master's Thesis [2022]
Title: Application of Gradient and Gradient-Free Optimizers in Transient Hydraulic Tomography to Characterize Fractured Aquifers.
Impact Statement: This research aims to evaluate the application of gradient-based and gradient-free optimization algorithms in Transient Hydraulic Tomography (THT) for the characterization of fractured aquifers. The study involves extensive laboratory-scale pumping experiments conducted on rock blocks, combined with the implementation of advanced inversion algorithms to enhance the hydrogeological characterization of fractured systems.
