Head Coach / Director of SWWAS Organization
Dave's primary focus is hitting and defense. Dave has 30+ seasons of coaching experience with fastpitch. This is his third year coaching the Southwest Wisconsin All-Stars. He is in charge of player personnel decisions.
Dave considers himself to be an expert nap-taker with his canine companion Daisy at his side.
Assistant Coach
Deven's focus is pitching coordinator and first base coach. Deven is currently the assistant coach at North Iowa Area Community College. He is going into his third season coaching the Southwest Wisconsin All-Stars.
In his rare spare time, Deven enjoys walking in the Iowa cornfields at sunset and watching softball.
Director of Softball Operations
This is Heather's third year with Southwest Wisconsin All-Stars. Heather is the glue of the team and wears many hats: social media coordinator, official disc jockey, and scorekeeper.
Heather enjoys spending time with her softball family.
Assistant Coach
Jenna's focus is slapping and infield. This is her second year coaching with Southwest Wisconsin All-Stars. Jenna was a three-time 2nd team All-Conference selection with Oregon High School and is 4th on the OHS Hit List. She has also recently signed with the Central Lakes Raiders for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
If you're lucky, you may see Jenna wiggle her ears.
Assistant Coach
Mya played softball at Poynette High School. PHS went to State her sophomore and junior year, and Mya was named All-State Catcher her senior year. She will be attending UW-Madison this Fall as a junior, where she is also the Head Manager for the Badger Softball team.
Not many people know this, but Mya danced for 9 years including ballet with point shoes.
Currently, Haley is a short stop at UW- La Crosse. In high school she was a four-time letter-winner, two-time First Team All-Conference winner, two-time First Team All-District, First Team All-State, First Team All-Area, Capital Conference Player of the Year, State Player of the Year Finalist and two-time Academic All-State Selection. She is now pursuing a double major in business management and business marketing, as well as a minor in professional and organizational communications, all while playing softball. Over the last two years, she has a career batting average of just over .245 with five home runs.
Previously, she was the U16 head coach at GRB in 2018.
Andy will be the Strength and Conditioning coach for SW-Wisco All Stars. Currently, Andy is teaching S&C at Monona Grove, along with coaching. Previously, Andy taught Physical Education and coached football and track at North Cedar.
