Alicization covered four cours (47 episodes) and adapted from the novel's ninth volume, Alicization Beginning, to the eighteenth volume, Alicization Lasting.[11] The English dub of the third season premiered on February 10, 2019 on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block.[12] The English dub version for the second cour of the second part of the third season premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami on November 8, 2020.[13]

Well from the title itself, i guess they are planning to do away the whole Jotunheim scene. since maybe the whole (or most) of this episode will be dedicated to Asuna's (failed) escape from her captors.

Looks that way... That, or they may just compress it all into a single episode, as they jump to show Asuna's failed escape or something. Not sure.. By the way. After your comment, you should put the ~ ~ ~ ~ at the end of your posts, to mark who you are! xD TUSF 11:47, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

Well im trying to be very optimistic. but since i want the first season to have a really good ending, then i guess Jotunheim has to go, considering the current episode lineup. i wished they would add more episodes to fit most of the events, but i guess i/we are asking too much for the anime staff. Skipping Jotunheim will not have a great impact on the anime, the Caliber side story can be shown as a seperate OVA, with flashbacks and stuff, Think of it as reading SAO for the first time, while there were a lot of side stories that were skipped, they are added later. And oopps sorry my first time posting here so im not sure how put the last part of my edit, ill try to do one here, ill edit it if i get it wrong. Ukiyaejl (talk) 15:06, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

They reach Aarun through Jotunheim, so we might at least get the scenery. But to conclude all the events here and also "The Truth about ALfheim", I don't think they can pull that off in one episode. Am I too pessimistic :(

It is true the reached Aarun through Jotunheim, but my point is that even if they didnt show the Jotuneheim scenes, it wont really affect much of the anime. I mean if you've read the novels, and imagined ignoring the whole Jotunheim scene, it really doesnt make a very big impact on the story, exlcuding the fact that it leads to the Caliber side story. Im just saying, if the anime will end at 25 episodes, then cramping both Jotunheim and Asuna's failed escape scene in 1 episode would not be enough, unless they really do it very well without screwing the plot.

Well since I was wrong might as well admit it. Though if they decide to animate Caliber SS they could just place the episode in without any problems in the second season since the events that took place are separate from the main story of Fairy Dance, I mean it pretty much was the equivalent of writer filler and setup for a larger plot. I'm not saying the Jotunheim sub-story was bad I'm just stating it is still possible to get Caliber SS.

Oops sorrry i was the one who added previews every week when it is released.? Sorry i was not informed that previews are not to be posted in this wiki.? Heck ive been adding previews since episode 15 and nobody mentioned it was not allowed.? My apololgies.Ukiyaejl (talk) 02:22, November 23, 2012 (UTC)

Lizbeth emerges from the back room just as Kirito reaches the last second, apologizing for making him wait, and asks how she can help him. Kirito tells Lizbeth that he wants to make a custom order, not realizing that she's the blacksmith. When Lizbeth informs him of this detail, a surprised Kirito makes a rude comment about her "traditional blacksmithing hoopskirt". After Lizbeth stumbles over her retaliation, Kirito asks her to craft a sword that's equally good or better than the one he already possesses, due to throwing his other sword at Griselda's ghost. Despite the sword being an Elucidator, the "gnarliest sword you can get from a monster drop", Lizbeth presents Kirito with the best sword she's ever forged, a "bad enough sword to rescue the president" with the Lizbeth Quality Guarantee. To test the sword's durability, Kirito slashes it against his Elucidator, causing it to break in half, shocking Lizbeth. Lizbeth tries to salvage what's left of her sword, but it shatters, causing her to collapse to the floor in despair.

Kirito asks her if she's going to start crying, commenting how he can't deal with anymore crying women in his life, but to his surprise, Lizbeth springs up in a fit of rage over Kirito's actions, telling him to leave. However, Kirito reminds Lizbeth of her own quality guarantee and how poorly advertised the sword was, stating that he could've been killed if he faced an enemy with it. Kirito then tells Lizbeth that he won't spread any negative rumors about her business if she makes him the best sword in the game. Lizbeth reminds Kirito he requested a sword that was "as good or better", but Kirito tells her that the prices have gone up, calling it the "Lizbeth Quality Guarantee plus interest". Hearing this, Lizbeth reaches her boiling point and tells Kirito she'll make the best sword he's ever seen but needs an ultra-rare metal to forge it. Kirito agrees to this condition and asks where to find it. Lizbeth warns Kirito the metal is hidden within the mountains of Floor 55, guarded by an Elite Dragon, much to Kirito's boredom. Annoyed, Lizbeth tells him that he'll probably never find the item anyway, as it won't even spawn unless he's partied with a master blacksmith, only to realize that this means she'll have to go with him and finally leave the safety of her shop.

Back at Lindas, Lizbeth goes to forge the one-handed long sword Kirito requested. Lizbeth prepares herself and activates the over-the-top rhythm mini game that is the game's crafting system, which Kirito is unable to see from his perspective. Upon completing the mini game, Lizbeth presents Kirito with a sword, which is the first of its kind and doesn't have a name. As he ponders on what to call it, Kirito asks how much he owes Lizbeth, to which she that he can have it for free, something that confuses Kirito. Lizbeth then tries to take the opportunity to confess her feelings to Kirito, but she is interrupted by Asuna, who bursts through the door and hugs Lizbeth. During the hug, Asuna whispers in Lizbeth ears that Kirito is "off limits", threatening to kill her if she doesn't comply. Asuna then lets Lizbeth go, pretending to be worried for her safety. Horrified by Asuna's threats, and by how quickly she pretended like nothing happened, Lizbeth runs away crying.

Lizbeth hides herself next to a bridge where Kirito finds her, having scanned the entire city from a nearby belltower. Kirito tells Lizbeth that he has no idea what Asuna said but guesses that it was "messed up and possibly, probably racist". After briefly distracting himself with the potential origins of Lizbeth's pink hair, Kirito tells Lizbeth that he's finally come up with a name for the sword she made him. He says that he decided to name it in memory of his adventure with Lizbeth, dubbing it "Sunlight Heart", which Lizbeth admires. However, Kirito then claims that he changed his mind and named it "The Piece of Shit... DRAGON Shit that is! LOL Trademark Lizbeth", followed by Lizbeth's contact info. Lizbeth asks Kirito why he would he do such a thing, to which he replies that it was in order to cement Lizbeth's legacy. Lizbeth laughs at this remark, remembering how much of an asshole Kirito is, and gets over her previous infatuation with him. Lizbeth then remarks that she can't believe she wanted to sleep with him, much to Kirito's shock.

The first television version of Sword Art Online premiered in 2012, but it is not done by a long shot. An adaptation of the manga arc Sword Art Online: Progressive released Aria of a Starless Night on October 30, 2021, and its sequel, Scherzo of a Dark Dusk, is set to premiere on September 10, 2022. The majority of the anime's arcs are available to viewers in the United States on Netflix, where multiple series were grouped under the title Sword Art Online, spanning 97 episodes.

Though there are many different ways to experience the series, most people begin with the Netflix collection and proceed from there. Unfortunately, not every season is a winner, and fans who don't know that the best material is in the fourth season may quit before ever reaching it. For those who want to watch the best SAO has to offer, these are the ten best episodes, according to IMDb.

This episode does a lot of establishing work, setting up where each critical character is and what they're doing, and it pulls together a lot of loose threads from previous episodes, getting audiences excited for what's to come.

This episode was the perfect ending to the original Alicization arc, giving Eugeo the ability to sacrifice himself for what he believed in. "My Hero" closed one chapter while teasing the next stage of the show, and did a good job honoring such a critical character.

The Mother's Rosario arc was the highlight of season two, and this episode finished it off strong. When Asuna finds out that Yuuki is likely to die any day, she gathers all of their friends in the virtual world to honor her. The idea of terminally ill patients finding new life through virtual reality was incredibly powerful, and it made the show's message about the power of VR that much more complex.

Sword Art Online's villains tend to show off the worst sides of technology, but Yuuki was a representation of how much beauty it can create at the same time. The episode's representation of terminal illness and escapism was handled well and honored all the people finding joy through unimaginable darkness.

This is the point at which Kirito starts to become the show's most likable character. By this point, many of the players had adjusted enough to start building lives in Aincrad, and Kirito is beginning that process himself. Although not as exciting as many of the other episodes, the character motivations are centered in a way that keeps audiences hooked through all of the chaos and separation to come. 0852c4b9a8
