SwitchKey does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data whatsoever.
The extension operates entirely locally on your device. It reads selected text only at the moment you trigger the language switch (Ctrl+Shift+S or button click), converts it between Hebrew and English keyboard layouts, and immediately replaces it — nothing is saved, logged, or sent anywhere.
No personal information, browsing history, keystrokes, or any other data is collected at any time.
Permissions used:
- activeTab: to access selected text on the current tab
- scripting: to inject the conversion script into web pages
- contextMenus: to add a right-click menu option
- tabs: to identify the active tab
- host permissions: to run on all websites
