About US

The Southwestern Illinois School Counselor Association (SWISCA) has 63 members representing different schools located throughout the Southern Illinois Region. Members meet 3-4 times per year for professional development and to share ideas and discuss school counseling related issues. The mission of SWISCA is to enhance human development throughout the lifespan and to promote the counseling profession. SWISCA membership enables us to support each other as school counselors and to develop new ways to advocate for our students to improve outcomes and promote life-long learning.
