Motion & Activity Data:
Steps Unlock uses Apple’s Motion & Fitness framework to access step count data solely for the purpose of determining when selected apps can be unlocked.
Step data is processed locally on your device.
We do not store or transmit motion data externally.
We do not access health data beyond step counts required for app functionality.
Screen Time & App Controls:
If you grant permission, the app uses Apple’s Screen Time (FamilyControls / ManagedSettings) framework to manage access to selected apps. These controls operate using Apple’s system APIs. We do not receive or store information about your app usage.
All restrictions are handled locally by the operating system.
Notifications:
If enabled, the app may send reminders or progress updates.
Notification permissions are optional. We do not collect or share notification-related data.
No Analytics or Tracking:

Third-Party Services:

Data Control:
All app data is stored locally on your device.
If you delete the app, its locally stored data will be removed unless you have created your own device backup.
