PRIVACY POLICY FOR SWIPECLEAR

This Privacy Policy explains how the publisher of SwipeClear (“SwipeClear,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the SwipeClear Android application (“the App”), package name com.swipeclearspace.app.
INFORMATION ACCESSED BY SWIPECLEAR
With your permission, SwipeClear accesses photos, videos, and related metadata stored on your device. This access allows the App to:
Find duplicate and similar photos
Identify potentially blurry photos
Find large photos and videos
Organize screenshots and gallery folders
Display media for your review
Calculate storage savings
Remove media after you confirm the action
Depending on your Android version, the App may request permission to access photos, videos, selected media, or external storage.
SwipeClear does not require access to your contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone for its cleanup features.
ON-DEVICE MEDIA PROCESSING
Photo and video analysis is performed locally on your device.
SwipeClear does not upload or send the following information to us or Google AdMob:
Your photos or videos
Media thumbnails
Filenames or local file paths
Duplicate groups, hashes, blur scores, or similarity results
The media you keep, review, stage, restore, or remove
Your gallery content is not used to select advertisements.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
SwipeClear may store the following information locally in the App’s private storage:
Scan and analysis results
Media hashes
Category counts
Cleanup history
Storage-saving records
Onboarding progress
Permission status
App settings and privacy choices
This information remains on your device. You can remove it by clearing SwipeClear’s storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the App.
MEDIA REMOVAL
SwipeClear does not delete media automatically. You must select or stage items and confirm the removal action.
On supported Android versions, removed media may be placed in Android’s system trash and remain recoverable for a period controlled by Android or your device manufacturer.
On devices where system trash is unavailable, confirmed deletion may be immediate and permanent.
GOOGLE ADMOB ADVERTISING
SwipeClear uses Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC, to display and measure advertisements and help prevent advertising fraud.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information including:
IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
App launches, taps, ad interactions, and video views
App and SDK performance or diagnostic information
Android advertising ID
App Set ID
Other applicable device or account identifiers
This information may be used for:
Displaying advertisements
Personalizing advertisements where permitted
Measuring advertising performance
Analytics
Preventing fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising activity
Google states that information collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted while being transmitted.
Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, age settings, and our advertising configuration, you may receive personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

ADVERTISING CONSENT AND PRIVACY CHOICES
Where required by law, SwipeClear will request consent or display privacy choices before requesting personalized advertisements.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be shown a consent message provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform or another compliant consent-management platform.
Where available, you can change your advertising choice through the “Privacy choices” or “Privacy and cookie settings” option in the App.

Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements. You may still receive contextual or non-personalized advertisements.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
SwipeClear does not require an account.
If you contact us for support, we may receive:
Your email address
The contents of your message
Technical information you voluntarily provide
Attachments you choose to send
Please do not send personal photos, videos, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your support request.
We use support communications to respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
Information may be shared in the following situations:
Google may collect and process advertising information through AdMob.
Email or support providers may process information you send when contacting us.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or valid legal process.
Relevant records may be transferred if the App or its publisher is acquired, reorganized, or transferred.
We do not sell your photos, videos, filenames, media-analysis results, or cleanup history.
Advertisements may link to third-party apps, websites, or services. We do not control these third parties. Their privacy policies govern any information they collect.
DATA RETENTION
Local App data remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall SwipeClear.
Media placed in Android’s system trash is retained according to Android or device-manufacturer rules.
Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requirements.
Google controls the retention of information processed through AdMob according to Google’s policies.
DATA SECURITY
SwipeClear uses Android’s application sandbox to protect locally stored information.
Google states that Mobile Ads SDK information is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security.
However, no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
SwipeClear is a general-audience storage utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law.
We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to us. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Google and other service providers may process advertising or support information in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have different data-protection laws.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or targeted advertising.
Because SwipeClear’s media analysis remains on your device, we generally cannot access or provide a copy of that local information. You can delete local App information by clearing SwipeClear’s storage or uninstalling the App.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or information-handling practices change.
When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised. Additional notice may be provided in the App or on the Google Play listing when required.
