This Privacy Policy applies to the following apps published by Jean-Pierre Rouhana ("we," "us," or "our"):
Swift Reader
If an app is not listed above, this policy does not apply to it.
Our Commitment
Every app listed above is built around the same principle: we do not collect, store, sell, or share personal information from our users. None of our apps require account creation, and none of our apps include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers of any kind.
Data We Collect
Across all of the apps listed above, we do not collect any personal data. There is no account creation, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind — with one exception, described below.
Exception: Importing Books in Swift Reader
Swift Reader includes an optional feature that lets you import public-domain books from Project Gutenberg's library. When you use this feature:
Your device connects directly to a third-party API that serves Project Gutenberg's catalog.
The book title or search term you request, along with standard connection information such as your IP address, is visible to that third-party server — the same way it would be if you visited a website directly in a browser.
This information is used only to retrieve the content you requested. We do not receive, store, log, or otherwise have access to this information ourselves.
This data is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and is not used for advertising or marketing.
This is the only data-related activity across our entire app lineup, and it only occurs when you actively choose to use the book-import feature in Swift Reader.
Advertising
None of our apps display ads or include any third-party advertising SDKs.
Opt-Out Rights
Since our apps do not collect personal information, there is generally nothing to opt out of. If you'd prefer not to use the one feature that connects to a third party (the Gutenberg import in Swift Reader, described above), you can simply avoid using it. You can also stop all use of any app at any time by uninstalling it through your device's standard uninstall process.
Children's Privacy
None of our apps are directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personal information in your country; in some countries, your parent or legal guardian may consent on your behalf.
Third-Party Services
Other than the Project Gutenberg API described above (used only within Swift Reader's optional import feature), our apps do not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you have questions about the Gutenberg import feature described above, or about this policy generally, please contact us using the information below.
Your Consent
By using any of the apps listed above, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add or change apps. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
